Nobody should feel awkward asking to be paid for work they already did. ## Why this exists The same sentence kept coming up from people who bill by the hour: I hate chasing people for money. They finish the work, send a text, wait, send another text, and feel rude doing it. The client is not trying to avoid paying. They are busy, and a text message is easy to lose and impossible to file. The fix is not a better reminder. It is a document. A numbered invoice with dates, hours and a total does the asking for you, and it does not sound like nagging. ## What it actually replaces Before an app, working out what you are owed means scrolling back through weeks of messages, adding up hours in your head, and hoping you have not missed a day. Now the time is recorded as it happens, the amount is already worked out, and the invoice comes out of it without anything being retyped.
